Income tax credit and FHA changesHUD has just announced the change in FHA guidelines that the qualifying amount up to $8,000 tax credit can be monetized and used for the 3.5% down payment and any additional closing costs beyond that amount.
This lets the first time buyer purchase with less out of pocket expenses. With low interest rates and low home prices ,this is definitely the time to buy!

Low E windows cleaning precautionsWith new energy saving windows being encouraged by tax incentives, it is a good time to review some cleaning tips.
Do not use a razor blade on stubborn spots. There is a very thin coating of metal on the glass and the blade could scratch the finish. Also do not use ammonia based cleaners as this can leave a film. Also do not use Lime deposit dissolving cleaners for the same reasons.
