Seller out of country....
One of my pet peeves when searching for a home for a buyer that I am working with has always been the lack of the houses data/photos or lack of attention to comments in MLS. Today I ran across a home that is currently listed for sale stating "Seller and Listing agent are out of the country and will not respond to offers until after October 29". (today's date is February 2, 2011) Upon further investigation I noticed this home was listed for sale 07/14/2010 so I am now curious if they were referring to Oct 29, 2010 or 2011? Was that a comment that was put in upon the original list date (07/14/10) of the home which has now been there for almost 7 months and is 5 months past the Oct 29 return from vacation? That means they have not looked at their listing in over 5 months? hhmmmmmmm....ok OR are they referring to October 29, 2011 (?) which means the home will be on the market for Feb(1) March (2) April (3) May (4) June (5) July (6) August (7) September (8) October (9) *****9****** NINE Months not accepting offers?!?! Either answer left me scratching my head. Needless to say I didn't show it Lack of photos to be discussed later.....
