30 Year Mortgage Rates RiseAverage interest on 30-year fixed mortgages rose for the first time since June, lifting to 4.35 percent this week from 4.32 percent last week and 5.07 percent a year ago, reports Freddie Mac. Rates for 15-year fixed loans held at 3.83 percent, the record low set last week.
